TWD - Maple-Peach Ice Cream

Actually, it was Honey-Peach Ice Cream that Tommi of Brown Interior chose for us this week for Tuesdays with Dorie. But, I only like honey in small doses. So I went with maple syrup. It's very subtle in the ice cream and the peaches really stand out.

Your Maple Peach Ice Cream looks terrific - the texture looks great! I didn't use much honey either (not by choice) so the peaches really do stand out.

pourquoi n'ai je pas pensé au sirop d'érable ? superbe idée Lyb, je pense que j'aurai préféré, quoique qu'avec le miel, j'ai adoré :)

Ben oui! ben oui! ben oui! Pourquoi je n'y ai pas pensé... pfff... ça doit être débile avec le sirop d'érable! LOL (Je viens de voir qu'Isa a écrit la même chose que moi! LOL) Faut croire que... les grands esprits se rencontrent, mais qu'au final, certains sont plus grands que d'autres! LOL

Hmmm, maple with peach.....I hadn't thought of that flavor combo before, but I can see it working. Could I have just a spoonful to sample? Just to see if it's as good as it looks?

I considered maple syrup, but I wasn't sure how it would mesh with the peaches. Glad to hear it was good!

Your ice cream looks great and I maple syrup is a nice sub. It's hard to think of anything that really wouldn't be good with maple syrup.

wow! yummy yummy Peach Ice Cream. The Peach Ice Cream was awesome. Gorgeous photo! I absolutely loved this one! I made peach ice cream last summer and it was amazing! I loved the honey/peach combo!
